Tobias Putrih translates his interest in utopian and visionary concepts of architecture and design, through a range of conceptual and materially ephemeral projects. The temporary environments he creates are made of ubiquitous, disposable and industrially manufactured materials, such as MDF, cardboard, paper, monofilaments, Styrofoam and scaffolding. Putrih also makes use of intangible materials like soap bubble membranes, light and shadow to explore the perimeters of design and architecture and create a narrative pathway that immerse his audience in his installations.
