Sylvie Eyberg selects, reproduces and reframes details of printed images that she associates with text fragments. Culled from magazine and popular print media, the images and the text she uses are laid out into precise yet lyrical arrangements, blown up or made smaller and printed as monochromatic silkscreens or inkjet prints. Eyberg plays with the halftone pattern that makes up the internal structure of images, pointing to their ephemeral quality as transient signifiers, always tied to language.
