Art Basel Hong Kong 2026
Booth 1D05
March 25 ⏤ 29, 2026
Convention Center, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
For Art Basel Hong Kong 2026, Galerie Greta Meert presents a focused dialogue between three fundamental registers: Sign / Writing, Concept, and Matter. Rather than illustrating themes, the presentation explores their interconnections — how a sign becomes an idea, how an idea materialises, and how matter itself can function as a form of writing.

Bringing together works by Carla Accardi, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Shirley Jaffe, Niele Toroni, Jef Geys, Louise Lawler, Jacob Kassay, Edith Dekyndt, Richard Tuttle, and others, the booth unfolds as a discursive space where gesture, system, context, and material presence intersect.

The presentation is built upon the premise that Sign / Writing, Concept and Matter are not closed domains, but permeable fields. Galerie Greta Meert articulates a discursive space in which viewing becomes a slow, attentive act, inviting visitors to experience the intensity of the minimal and the clarity of the idea within the international context of Art Basel Hong Kong.
